Happy Songkran! Happy Water Festival!
I’m so happy I have 7 days off because next week is Songkran Festival. Songkran is the Thai New Year. We celebrated it every year on 13 April to 15 April. It’s water-throwing festival obviously. People on the streets with containers of water or water guns and drench each other and passersby.
Actually Songkran is a time to visit and pay our respects to elders such as family and friends. The old traditional is to pouring a small amount of water to other people hands, it’s sing of respect.
Nowadays, the water-throwing is the most obvious celebrations of Songkran. And that is why I’ve never joined the festival. They make it more like water fights. People are throwing water at each other like crazy.
Anyway, it’s supposed to be
fun festival. So happy Songkran Everybody! And don’t forget Water- use it Wisetly!
Happy New Year to you all! ^_^

Yeah, It suppose to be fun! ^__^
Ha ha, that looks like fun. Although, I don't think I would like it just as much if someone poured a bucket of water all over me. But I could consider watching it from a window. Hi hi.
It' strange for me thinking that the new years is now...because it was so long ago here. But Happy New year anyway.
I've never had a chance to joined the festival, even it is seem to be fun. The weather in Thailand is boiling hot and i don't like crowded so much so... I just don't really have that kind of fun experices.. haha... just like you said watching it from a window would be best choice. ^__~
That's "must-do" in my life.
